Section Head, Operations
Plans, Supervises and directs the operation of the units and systems in his assigned section of Refinery operations.
Participates in planning and scheduling of operations and shutdowns for his units and coordinates all maintenance and inspection work for the respective units.
Coordinates training and follows up programs and progress.
Education Details :
Bachelor’s degree in CHEMICAL ENGINEERING OR EQUIVALENT.

Related Work Experience:
10 years of work experience in refinery operation, process control and associate areas of which at least 2 years should be in supervisory capacity.
Eng. Operating
Assist the concerned section head in the day-to-day functioning enabling him to concentrate on plant trouble shooting, improvement in system & procedures and other developmental activities. Participates in planning and scheduling of operations, start-up and shutdowns of units and co-ordinates all maintenance, process engineering, inspection and safety related work for the assigned units.
Education Details :
Bachelor’s Degree in CHEMICAL ENGINEERING OR EQUIVALENT.

Related work Experience:
6 years relevant experience in refinery
Others : Computer proficiency in MS Office(For reports generation, Startup/Shutdown plans etc.).
Eng.Sr.Process
Monitors performance of and troubleshoots assigned Refinery units. Supervises activities of assigned Process Engineering. Directs Technical Studies and process design for new/modified processes and units. Emphasizes pollution control/energy conservation objectives. Handles special projects, studies and assignments
Education Details :
Bachelor’s Degree CHEMICAL/ PETROLEUM ENGINEERING.

Related Work Experience:
8 years experience in Process Engineering in a Petroleum Refinery,including 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
Eng.Process
Carries out process design, monitoring and trouble shooting of assigned Refinery units and off sites.
Participates in energy conservation/pollution control activities.
Assist in developing process design of new projects, modifications & expansions.
Education Details :
Bachelor’s Degree CHEMICAL ENGINEERING OR EQUIVALENT.

Related work Experiences:
6 years experiences in Process Engineering in a Petroleum Refinery/Consoling Engineering Company in refining field.
Eng.Sr.Operational Planning
Supervises and controls all Refinery Operational Planning activities related to product blending, supply analysis, conversion feedstock, Refinery optimization/economics and profit improvement program etc. Reviews refinery perfomence & economic evaluation, product specification and supply schedules. Coordinates with Corporate planning Department, Manufacturing Optimization Group(MOG) and International Marketing Department (KPC) on short and long range planning issues. Directs subordinates on linear programming techniques for production plans etc., according to corporate strategy.
Education Details :
Bachelor’s Degree CHEMICAL OR EQUIVALENT.
Related work Experiences:
8 years experiences in operational planning, economics and marketing in a Oil/Petroleum refinery.


Eng.Operational Planning
Performs various operational planning, products development and economic analysis functions directed towards optimizing Refinery production and operations level.
Prepares inventory projections, detailed daily operating plans and economic analysis of changes in process/ products slate / feed, etc. Issues blending instructions.
Educational Details:
Bachelor’s Degree CHEMICAL OR EQUIVALENT.

Related Work Experiences:
6 years experience in Operational Planning, economics and marketing in a Oil/ Petroleum refinery.
Engineer PSM
Plans and coordinates the activities of the PSM section. Responsibilities include planning, developing, implementing, maintaining, and managing process safety system within alloted territory. Performs duties as engineer PSM and assists in fulfilling the responsibilities of senior engineer PSM.
Educational Details:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

Additional training :
Leadership training on PSM, Certified lead auditor OHAS

Related Work Experience : minimum of 7 years experience in refinery safety of operations
Eng.Safety
Advises, assists and coaches Operations, Maintenance, Projects and other personnel on assigned site safety related matters to meet the company Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policy. Carries out safety equipment & compliance audits, assists in accident investigation, conducts HSE training, participate in risk assesment of various tasks, reviews contractors safety performance and records safety performance data.

Advises line management on safety violations and coordinates MI.
Educational Details:
Bachelor’s of Engineering Degree in Chemical / Industrial / Mechanical / Safety / Fire / Fire & Safety.

Related Work Experience:
6 years experience in safety in a major refinery / petrochemical industry preferred.

Others : incumbent should be physically/mentaily prepared to work under personality hazardous conditions at any location within the refinery jurisdiction.




Eng. Environment Field
Provides environmental advisory and monitoring services to the refineries, LM, Project sites and H.O. to achieve the environmental objectives and targets. Carries out assigned tasks in the programs to assess environmental aspects/hazards and prevent/minimize their impact. Discharges responsibility assigned as per Environmental management system and procedures.
Education Details :
Bachelor’s Degree CHEMICAL / ENVIRONMENT ENGINEERING OR EQUIVALENT.

Additional Training:
Training as Lead Auditor for Environmental Management System is preferred

Related Work Experience:
6 years experience in environment engineering and management in an oil refinery or petrochemical industry.

Eng. Environment Services
Assists in advising, providing input and conclusion to manager, HSE, Team Leader, Environment and Field Environment personnel on environmental issues to achieve environmental objectives and goals. Assists in developing and maintaining Environmental Management System Documentation and procedures. Discharges responsibilities assigned  as per Environmental Management System and procedures. Assists in liasion with government and other outside agencies / stake holders. Updates knowledge in environment field / regulations applicable to refineries / distribution and shares with sites / division.
Education Details :
Bachelor’s Degree CHEMICAL / ENVIRONMENT ENGINEERING OR EQUIVALENT.

Additional Training:
Training as Lead Auditor for Environmental Management System is preferred

Related Work Experience:
6 years experience in environment engineering and management in an oil refinery or petrochemical industry.

Eng. Inspection
Inspects fired/unfired pressure equipment in Refinery, including steam producing equipment, oil heaters, columns, vessels, heat exchangers, piping system and storage tanks, reactors, marine and harbor facilities. Calculates permissible working pressure of equipment and reports findings.

Prepares inspection work-lists for plant turnarounds and coordinates these functions with concerned refinery epartments, Projects departments and Contractors representatives.
Inspects critical equipment at supplier’s works as directed
Education Details:
Bachelor Degree MECHANICAL OR METALLURGICAL  ENGINEERING.

Related Work Experience:
6 years experience in plant inspection in a refinery or petrochemical industries, preferably with high pressure/temperature system
Eng. Corrosion Metall
Studies, monitors and reports on environmental conditions in the Refinery that cause deterioration of metals by corrosion or a combination of corrosion and other adverse factors and recommends solutions. Coordinates corrosion control activities with Operations, Technical services, Maintenance & Engineering departments and contractors representatives.
Education Details :
Bachelor’s Degree CHEMICAL, METALLURGICAL OR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, WITH PREFERABLY POST GRADUATE DEGREE OR INDUSTRIAL TRAINING IN METALLURGY.

Related Work Experience:
6 years industrial experience as a corrosion / Metallurgy Engineer, preferably in the Oil or Petrochemical industry.
Eng. Instrument Design
Performs engineering work related to the instrument design, procurement and construction aspects for modification projects of revenue nature & capital projects handled by the refinery. Studies and implements corrective measures and solutions to engineering problems
Education Details:
Bachelor’s degree in INSTRUMENT/ ELECTRONICS Engineering or equivalent.

Related Work Experience:
6 years diversified experience in instrumentation engineering, including design, project engineering activities in high technology  industry, preferably in refineries or petrochemical plant.
Eng. Mechanical Maintenance
Supervises directs and controls all activities of company / contractor personnel working in mechanical maintenance division in assigned units for repair, modification and installation of all stationary mechanical equipment (including tank maintenance applicable for MAA only), in field and office environments. Ensures that jobs are being done in-line with all HSE regulations . Comments on design/ drawings/ specification and recomends improvements in maintenance works/ procedures/ standards. Supervises mechanical contract work including tank cleaning and repair contract / catalyst handling contract / hydroblast & chemical cleaning contract / onstream leak sealing and scaffolding contracts etc., for all stationary equipment. Carries out non-routine assignments, as and when required.
Education Details:
Bachelor’s Degree in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING  or equivalent.

Related Work Experience:
 6 years experience in mechanical maintenance work on stationary mechanical work on stationary mechanical equipment in refinery / gas plant.
Eng. Rotating Equipment
Supervises directs and controls all Rotating Equipment maintenance activities in shop / field as assigned.
Responsibilities include supervising all maintenance, testing , modification & project activities, especially of complex nature , review and commenting on design / drawings/ specifications; recommending improvements in operating conditions and work procedure/ standards; Executing maintenance activities in coordination with operations and other Departments; Personally supervising maintenance jobs on critical rotating equipments & auxiliaries and carrying out special / non routine assignments.
Education Details:
Bachelor’s degree in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING  or equivalent.

Related Work Experience:
6 years experience in mechanical engineering & maintenance activities (preferably relating to rotating equipment), in an oil industry.
Eng.Instrument Maintenance
Supervises, directs and controls instrument. Maintenance activities in the work shop or field as assigned. Responsibilities include supervising on-line testing, modifications, and construction activities especially of complex nature, commenting on designs/drawing/specifications recommending improvement of operating conditions, work procedures/standards, personally performing maintenance jobs on highly complex/sophisticated instrument equipment/systems and carrying out special/non routine assignments
Education Details:
Bachelor’s degree in INSTRUMENTATION/ELECTRONICSENGINEERING  or equivalent.

Related Work Experience:
6 years experience in instrument maintenance activities in an oil industry.
Eng Electrical Maintenance
Supervises, directs & controls electrical maintenance activities in an assigned area/workshop within the refinery.
Responsibilities include supervising on-line testing, modification, construction activities especially of complex nature ; inspecting substation daily ; commenting on designs /drawings/specifications; recommending improvement in operating conditions work procedures/standards; coordinating electrical maintenance work with Operations divisions; personally performing switching operations & maintenance jobs on highly complex/sophisticated electrical equipment/systems and carrying out special/non-routine assignments.
Education Details:
Bachelor’s degree in ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING  or equivalent.

Related Work Experience:
6 years experience in electrical engineering & maintenance activities in an oil industry.
Eng Sr R&T Coordination
Leads, administers and provides functional guidelines to team members to carry out a variety R&T studies/analysis. Plans, controls and directs the activities towards execution of assigned R&T programs in order to ensure their successful completion as per approved schedule and budget without compromising on quality safety and environmental issues
Education Details:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Environment / Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent.

Related Work Experience:
8 years experience in Research & Technology programs in Petroleum Refining including 4 years in a supervisor capacity.
